Went into Applebee's not expecting to leave smiling after having a great time, but I did at this place. The place was quite busy, due to happy hour (9pm-Close) but I got great service from Katherine and it was a wonderful evening. Good fajitas and beer!

While Applebee's tend to be ok, the service here is truly makes this location. Toni was the best bartender we have ever had, and I cannot wait to go back again to chat with her. What a wonderful and genuine person.

Well I was with a friend when I went up there I stayed inth the car he called order to go and it took a time before he got out 🤔? So two stars better than nothing? I've cooked ten years what do you think. I'm sure they just had a day Everybody has hash one now and then it's not a perfect world it's OK

Ordered a grilled chicken salad from 2 for $22 section.. Received a quite modest salad w/ FINELY chopped greens, carrots, etc. and chicken, modest amount. No tomatos, no egg, no dressing. That's it! Thought that was odd. Didn't think much further due to events of the day. Ate maybe less than 1/3 I was hungry, tired, there with my sons. Found out this AM what should have been on the salad. But, you know, why? Sons weren't too impressed w/ their dishes either. Should have taken a picture. Darn! Applebees, 2810 W. Elder, Boise.

We did a pickup order and my husband was one minute past the pickup time and our food was cold and they missed are drinks. Plus the food tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. will not order from them again

Food was very good, service was very well done. Our waitress was attentive for us having a 9 person party, everyone got their drinks filled and questions answered in a timely manner. Only 4 stars because our food took almost 45 minutes to come out after ordering.

It was very nice. Service was great, so was the food. It wasn't packed considering it is Superbowl Sunday. That was exactly what we wanted.

Great service, great food. Manager was proactive in finding a great table for my friend & I (handicapped) removing chairs and making sure we were comfortable. Our waitress was quick to take our drink orders and answering questions regarding menu. It was a pleasant dining experience and we will return. The whiskey, bacon burger was amazing.

Do not recommend the hand battered fish and chips. Its all batter, small piece of fish, and not fully cooked. So disappointed, because I am starving.

Just left this Applebee’s after waiting 60 minutes for our lunch order to come out. Since it was taking too long we asked for it to be packed To Go and waited 10 more minutes. After apologizing for their delays, a server came back out and said our meals aren’t close to being ready. Our group walked out with no lunch and late for work :-/

I stood at the door waiting for about 5 minutes before the girl at the bar stopped chatting with a coworker to come seat us. And, she only did that when I went to seat myself. She tells me the hostess isn't in yet. If you know this why are you not covering for her properly? My waiter was nowhere to be found after we paid. I still needed a receipt and box. Took him over 10 minutes to come back with my receipt. I wouldn't have left a tip but I had already paid electronically at the table. I guess as soon as you pay that way you are forgotten about. Won't go back to this restaurant again.

I deliver for a few places and never have I been so mad at a place I pick up from. Several employees just stood and stared at me but not one wanted to help me. I wont ever go there for myself. Place was dirty and employeed rude.

I'm going to be honest. I've never cared for Applebees. I thought their food was always boring and bland. I haven't been for years. However, we received a gift card and went in yesterday for lunch. We're a family of 6. The waitress was super nice and patient. Apologized when our order got messed up and quickly resolved it. There seemed to be an entirely new menu. Our kids loved their kids meal options, especially the chocolate milk Haha. My husband and I absolutely loved the bbq brisque tacos!! Omg they were super good! And our salads were super fresh and had lots of perfectly chopped veggies! Because of this experience we will definitely return....if only for the tacos haha.

My daughter flew in recently to surprise me for my birthday. She waited at this Applebee's and the staff helped to hide her and get me seated so she could sneak out and surprise me. They were absolutely wonderful Smiley and friendly and accommodating. They helped to make it the best birthday surprise ever!

We went to have a drink and watch some of the ball game. We got some of the appetizers and they were ok..to salty for my taste. The bar maid was nice and the place was clean

I've been twice. Once for dinner which I would rate 4 stars. The 2nd time was for a work lunch with 11 other people. It took 45 minutes after ordering the entres for the food to arrive. The bowl of soup only had 1/4 inch in it, but they did rectify it.Thus ok for small groups but not that good for larger groups.

The waitress was rude. We ask if a plate was spicy and she said no. It was. We asked if instead of mashed potatoes we could have the fries she said no. She forgot to bring the salad so we asked for it and that apparently made her up set and she literally slammed it on the table. As we left we told the manager and she said that the waitress was wrong we should have been allowed to swap. We also had asked if I could have my dish without the rice because I can't eat rice and she said no they don't allow substitutions. I did not want it substituted just no rice due to medical issues..

Not the best place for a large group (12 people) but we went during an off time of day, so had the place mostly to ourselves.Always good food and they treated us well.It has been a while since I was in Applebee's and the menu had changed. I liked the new options.

Food was good but service was less than good. I had asked to get my alcoholic beverage when my food arrived. It came shortly after I ordered it. And nearly 15 mins before my food. Normally you get small plates to share the appetizer with. That didn’t happen. Then she barely checked in on us to make sure things were ok. Although when she did I didn’t bother to say anything as she seemed to not really care anyway.

The waitress was very nice and curb side service was fast but I forgot about much you pay for such little food. $40 (including coupon) barely fed a family of four, two of which are toddlers. I was hoping for something better but l guess I learned my lesson again. Oh well.

Considering the menu has been limited drastically, you'd think it wouldn't be very hard to get an order right. Was told I'd get a coupon to compensate for the error but zero follow through. Maybe they were overwhelmed by all of the orders? After all, there was one other car in the parking lot. If you like terrible service and food you didn't order, this the place for you.
